Arken Optics Goes Hunting: Outrider 2-12x42 SFP at $299 With Launch Coupon

Arken Optics has added a new scope to its lineup: the Outrider 2-12x42, a second focal plane hunting scope with capped turrets and a clean duplex reticle. The reticle is available in both a fiber optic illuminated model (FDR) and an unlit model (DLR), and both versions use quarter-MOA clicks on a 30mm tube.

Pricing is pure Arken disruption. The MSRP with the FDR illuminated reticle is $374.98, but a coupon code running as of writing takes 20 percent off — dropping it to $299. The DLR non-illuminated reticle lists for $312.48, or $249 with the coupon. Like all Arken scopes, it carries a lifetime warranty, and both models are available to order now directly from Arken.

The glass story is aimed squarely at dawn-and-dusk hunters: premium Japanese HD glass with fully multi-coated optics delivering 90%+ light transmission, and an ultra-wide 58.83-foot field of view at 100 yards on 2x for fast target acquisition, tightening to 12x for confident longer shots. A forgiving eye box is built for quick follow-ups from offhand or improvised positions.
