Federal Ammunition recently released two new 20-gauge loads in its Master Class shotshell line, and they are now shipping. These are competition-level sporting-clay loads built around a customized Podium wad and Federal's straight-wall hull, with reliable primers, high-antimony lead shot, and select propellants.
The two loads: 20-gauge 2-3/4-inch #7-1/2, 7/8 oz at 1,250 fps (MC224 7.5) and 20-gauge 2-3/4-inch #8, 7/8 oz at 1,250 fps (MC224 8), each at $16.99 MSRP. Federal's Shotshell Product Line Manager Sam Oftdahl said Master Class gives shooters competitively priced loads with the top-quality internal components needed to break the most challenging targets in sporting clays and FITASC — now available in 20-gauge.
For the sub-gauge sporting clays crowd, this is the meaningful part: a purpose-built competition 20-gauge option from a Big Three maker, not a repurposed field load. If your clays gun wears 20-gauge tubes, your ammo shelf just got more interesting.

Wish more outlets would cover the practical side — what this means at the range, not just the press release.

The comments section almost never has anything this reasonable going on. Cheers.
