Federal Premium is putting its value-priced American Eagle line behind the 6mm ARC with a new 110-grain Total Metal Jacket load built for the AR-15 platform. It ships in 20-round boxes at an MSRP of $36.99 and is headed to dealers now.
The load clocks 2,550 fps, giving range shooters a way to feed the efficient little cartridge — Hornady's long-range answer in a standard AR-15 envelope — without paying match-grade prices for every trigger pull.
It is a telling milestone for the chambering: when American Eagle starts loading it by the 20-round box, the cartridge has graduated from enthusiast curiosity to everyday range staple. Your 6mm ARC upper just got cheaper to shoot.
