Silencer Saturday First Look: Liberty's Infiniti X Is a 7.5-Ounce Do-It-All Can

Silencer Saturday #448 puts TFB's first look on the Liberty Suppressors Infiniti X: a lightweight yet adaptable silencer that covers a lot of bases. Liberty, previously featured for its IDF-style 10/22 clone suppressor, sent the can out for review — and the first thing tested was the weight claim.

The silencer body is advertised at 7.5 ounces thanks to a titanium monocore baffle stack, and the reviewer's scale read 7.4 ounces with no mount. Mounts add weight from there: 8.1 ounces with the low-profile 1/2x28 direct thread, 10.2 ounces with the steel full-size 1/2x28 fixed barrel adapter, and 11.9 ounces with the 1/2x28 booster assembly. Compatible calibers range from .22 LR up to .338 Win Mag, with direct-thread mounts and booster assemblies for tilting-barrel handguns. The base silencer retails for $1,070, the complete kit at $1,266, and the master bundle — adding a 13.5x1mm LH piston and tools — at $1,731.

There are barrel-length restrictions to respect: magnum cartridges only on barrels 22 inches or longer, standard non-magnum rifle cartridges like .30-06 and .308 at 18 inches minimum, small-frame AR cartridges like 5.56 or 6.8 SPC down to 11.5-inch barrels, and subsonics as short as 5 inches (supersonic .300 or 8.6 Blackout needs 8 inches). Owners of older Liberty Mystic, Mystic X, or original Infiniti cans can upgrade to Infiniti X specification for $500, or $575 in a color other than black.
