Pernod Ricard has reportedly appointed four investment banks — Kotak Mahindra Capital, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and BofA Securities — to advise on a potential IPO of its Indian business. The listing could take place in 2027 and seek to raise more than INR 94.5 billion (US$1bn / 740m pounds), though size and structure are not finalised and more banks could join.
The move follows two months of the group weighing ways to unlock value. Pernod Ricard stressed it has not decided to proceed — this is optionality, not a done deal.
India is the growth engine every spirits giant wants a bigger piece of. If this lists, it will be one of the biggest drinks-market events of 2027.

The optics-ready trend keeps getting better. Cheap to mount, zero excuse not to train with a dot now.
