Rost Martin's RM1X Series: Compact Slide, Full-Size Grip, Three Flavors

Rost Martin is expanding its RM1 lineup with the RM1X series — a trio of pistols built around a compact slide paired with a full-size grip, a configuration the company says comes directly from customer feedback: capacity and concealability in one package.

Three models cover the spread: the RM1CX Standard for everyday carry, the RM1CX Comp with a compensated slide to reduce muzzle rise, and the RM1CX Tactical, which rounds out the lineup with a threaded barrel. All share a hammer-forged match barrel, fully ambidextrous controls, an optics-ready slide with an RMR plate included, and Rost Martin's grip texture from the rest of the RM1 family.

CEO Chris Toomer framed it as a direct response to customers, saying the company is here for its customers every step of the way. California-compliant RM1CX and RM1CX Comp versions are coming later; standard-capacity ships with 17- and 19-round mags (Standard) and 17- and 24-round mags (Tactical).
