The MP7 has been the platform American civilians could only watch from across the pond — and a Dallas-based up-and-comer is doing something about it. UO Arms, a specialty manufacturer led by CEO Steven Young and founded by security, military, and industry veterans, has opened orders on the NT7, a US-built, MP7-style semi-automatic in 4.6x30mm. Orders placed now are slated for delivery in Q4 2026.

The price of admission: $3,499 for the pistol and $3,798 for the factory SBR, with an optional HUXWRX flow-through suppressor at $999.95. Four color options, 10/20/30/40-round magazine choices, 3.6 pounds, and 23 inches with the stock extended round out the package.

The lineage is real: the NT7 is reengineered from the Tommybuilt T7 platform, with Tom Bostic transitioning Tommy Built into UO Arms. And unlike most specialty firearm makers, this one is funded to scale — a senior secured loan from Rochefort Asset Management (Kyle Bass) closed in January 2026, a rare capital backstop in a segment where that almost never happens. The company positions the NT7 for both civilian buyers and military and law-enforcement users.

This is exactly the story FreedomWire exists to cover: a small American manufacturer with real engineering pedigree and real backing taking a swing at the most-wanted platform in its class. Watch this one.

Been waiting on this one since the announcement. Retailers near me say stock is moving fast.

Wish more outlets would cover the practical side — what this means at the range, not just the press release.

The comments section almost never has anything this reasonable going on. Cheers.
