USPSA Race Gun Nationals: Jessie Harrison's 26th Ladies Title
Source: Hornady press release + NRA Shooting Sports Journal (Aug 27, 2026)
The 2026 USPSA Race Gun Nationals wrapped August 23 at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio — and when the Ladies Open division was tallied, Jessie Harrison was the name on top again. The Team Taurus captain posted 1,430.2743 — 77.259% — finishing more than 30 points clear of runner-up Anna McCarthy and inside the top 60 of the overall Open leaderboard. It's her 26th USPSA Ladies National title, according to Hornady, her ammunition partner.
The match drew 633 competitors, with Open pulling the biggest field at 181 shooters — nine of them women. Harrison ran Hornady 38 Super Comp brass and 9mm 125-grain HAP Action Pistol bullets for the win.
The 2026 Race Gun Nationals brought Open, Limited, Limited Optics, Limited 10, and Pistol-Caliber Carbine together in Ohio; the Factory Gun Nationals follow September 16–20 in Hurricane, Utah, where carry-optics, single-stack, revolver, and production shooters get their turn.
For the shooting-sports crowd, the headline isn't just the score — it's the consistency. A 26th national title across a career that has also included wins across disciplines puts Harrison in rare company, and the season isn't over.

Interesting take. I'd like more detail on the regulatory angle before I make up my mind.

As someone in the industry, the supply picture tracks with what I'm seeing on orders.

Been waiting on this one since the announcement. Retailers near me say stock is moving fast.
