ZYN's "When It Clicks": A New Brand Platform Built Around the Moment Everything Falls Into Place

Philip Morris International's U.S. businesses (PMI U.S.) have announced the national rollout of "When It Clicks," a new ZYN brand campaign inspired by the universal moment when effort, timing, and confidence align. The platform centers on the instantly recognizable sound of "the ZYN click" — the sensory cue that signals momentum and marks the point when everything comes together.

The campaign taps into a simple insight: adults increasingly value being present for the moments that matter. In a world of constant distractions and the pull of always being connected, ZYN helps keep busy legal-aged nicotine users fully present without having to step away. Seth Kaufman, Chief Commercial Officer at PMI U.S., framed it: "At its core, 'When It Clicks' is built on both a product and an emotional truth. For adult nicotine consumers, it's about having a way to stay engaged in the moment without missing what's happening around them."

A key visual device in the campaign is the use of brackets — "( )" — to highlight moments when things click, creating a flexible creative system across point of sale, digital, out-of-home, and live cultural events. Following a soft launch this summer, PMI U.S. will bring "When It Clicks" to full national scale in the fourth quarter of 2026, debuting it to trade retail partners and distributors at the NACS Show in early October before consumer-facing activations across music, entertainment, sport, and art.

ZYN will also release limited-edition metal ZYN cases showcasing original artwork from a curated group of American and U.S.-based artists — the American Art Series — available for purchase beginning in Q4. The cases are accessories only and do not contain nicotine pouches, and PMI U.S. says it will continue to expand the platform into 2027.
